The ordinal 12404 could not be located in the dynamic link library mfc90u.dll.

Problem: I am getting this error when trying to open Samsung Kies 3 after new installation:

The ordinal 12404 could not be located in the dynamic link library mfc90u.dll.

Solution: Install the following package solved the problem

vcredist_x86.exe

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=10015

Windows:  Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1
Kies 3 Installer:  Version 3.2.14083.9
